(14) Left hand, thumb and index finger together

This combo is similar to Xiao Cuo - make sure your index and middle fingers maintain 
a circle; utilize your first finger joint.

If your left hand has guzheng picks, it is recommended to use Ti Tan method.

If your left hand does not have picks, your picks can lean against the strings 
to pluck. This means, for example, after your index finger plucks a string, it returns 
immediately to its original position. This also applies to your thumb.
